The Makita Aluminum Groove Cutter, CA5000XJ, enables the user to cut grooves in aluminum composite materials which is then able to be folded at right angles to cover the exterior of housing walls. The CA5000XJ is compatible with 165mm saw blades, making this a very versatile device to have on any work-site.

The CA5000XJ is designed to suit the needs of tradespeople installing aluminum composite paneling on the exterior of buildings.

Features:

• Variable speed dial allows fine tuning of the blade speed can be made by adjusting the speed dial. Slower speed obtained by turning the dial towards 1
• Extraction outlet where milled aluminum can be efficiently extracted by connecting vacuum hose to the 36mm outlet
• Lightweight and durable design with a die cast aluminum base plate
• Easy blade change where the blade case cover opens by loosening just one stopper pin with supplied hex wrench that is stored on-board in the auxiliary handle
• Mechanical brake allows the blade speed quickly come to a stop to increase safety and efficiency so the user can carry on with the job
• Depth adjustment dial with 3 stage depth dial adjustment, easily changed by turning the dial to required position
• Compatible with guide rails in order to ensure cutting line is straight
• Main and auxiliary handles with elastomer soft grip provides more comfort and control

• Can use a 165mm saw blade and used as a plunge cutter
